
Art in City Hall Prospect - Summer Pop-Up Exhibit
Art in City Hall Prospect brings light to the city with this Summer Pop-Up Show. From the fun, fanciful work of ceramicist Lena Wolok and mixed media scupture of Jacque Parsley, to the beautiful landscapes and figurative work of painter John Michael Carter, there is something for everyone to love! The show features ten artists who work in painting and clay and mixed media sculpture.

Families can expect FREE admission, artist demos from Gregory King and Karen Boone, a Community Collage Mural in Studio 715 inspired by artist Harlan Hubbard, and nature-themed activities in the third floor studio. In addition, guest can enjoy treats from Gelato Gilberto and meet some folks from Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana!

The Highland Renaissance Festival is a 13th century period festival that offers a wide variety of activities and entertainment.There are 9 stages of continuous entertainment daily, including LIVE Combat Jousting, Period Music, Dancing, Reenactment, Fire Juggling, Sword Swallowing, Acrobatics, Mud Show and much more. We have over 75 merchants and artisans that sell and demonstrate items such a clothing, jewelry, handmade blacksmith wares, soaps, herbals, mugs, children's games and more.

Blackacre Farms Saturday Morning Farm Animal Feeding
Every Saturday morning, come experience life on a farm and help with feeding the farm animals! The goats, sheep and donkeys are fed by grain bowls in the meadow. They love the extra attention!

Art in the Park
Celebrate National Recreation and Parks Month this July at Art in the Park! They are again partnering with Kentucky Shakespeare to host this event at Central Park on Thursday, July 17 from 6-8 p.m. Find free arts and craft activities under the pergola in the park before the showing of Cymbeline on the amphitheater stage. Make potions, leather keychains, flower crowns, beautiful beaded garden stakes and more. Kentucky Shakespeare will also have food trucks, Will's Tavern, Will's Gift Shop, Kids Globe and other entertainment
