Join a volunteer from WAGS—Wonderful Animals Giving Service. They bring a licensed therapy dog into the library that you can pet and read to. Art in City Hall Prospect - Summer Pop-Up Exhibit
Art in City Hall Prospect brings light to the city with this Summer Pop-Up Show. From the fun, fanciful work of ceramicist Lena Wolok and mixed media scupture of Jacque Parsley, to the beautiful landscapes and figurative work of painter John Michael Carter, there is something for everyone to love! The show features ten artists who work in painting and clay and mixed media sculpture.

Join with the St. Matthews neighborhood for an end-of-summer party! “Watermelon & Water Slides” is hosted by Highview’s Beechwood Campus on their front lawn. Bring a lawn chair and a friend! This is a free event, open to the community. They will have inflatable water slides, volleyball, and yard games for all ages.

Shakespeare in Dance: A Midsummer Night's Dream from Louisville Ballet
In the final week of the summer, Louisville Ballet returns for a ninth season to present an original dance piece by choreographer Roger Creel, inspired by Shakespeare’s classic romantic comedy.

KMAC Museum: Tiny Art Tales
Tiny Art Tales is a kindergarten-readiness program that promotes literacy, body awareness, and fine motor skills. The program strives to promote values of inclusivity, equality, positivity, and love through the act of reading, singing, moving, and art-making. Parental/Caregiver participation is encouraged! KMAC believes that children learn best from their caregivers when they model singing, reading, improvising, and moving with their children.

St. Joe's Picnic for the Kids
Bring your family and friends to our annual St. Joe’s Picnic for the Kids continuing August 9th on the St. Joe’s campus in Crescent Hill located at 2823 Frankfort Avenue.
